Karl Barth's Theology of Science and Its Legacy: From Christological Concentration to Cosmic Flourishing

Shin Kyung-Soo · 2026. 09
Article (38 pp., Korean)
Abstract
Argues that Barth's rejection of natural theology was not a rejection of natural science but an epistemological decision that secured the methodological autonomy of science. Traces Barth's path through the doctrines of creation and providence, the ethics of 'loaned life', and the late 'doctrine of lights', and follows its reception in T. F. Torrance, Christian Link and Chung Seung-Hoon.
